Interested in Dual Credit ?

BEFORE the registration date (July 29) for classes at CNM, you should:

1) Take the Accuplacer Test at CNM.  The Accuplacer is an assessment in Math & English that will determine if you are eligible for college level courses and which ones you are ready to take.  Go to the CNM Main Campus, Student Services building before 4:00 PM to take the Accuplacer.  If you've already taken the Accuplacer and did not score high enough, you should try again.  There is no limit on the number of times a student can take the Accuplacer.

2)  Apply to CNM.  You can do this when you take the Accuplacer, or you can do this online at CNM.edu.

3)  Consult with a CNM Academic Advisor to ensure you are taking appropriate classes.

After these steps have been completed you are ready to register for Dual Credit classes that will fit with your MACCS schedule.  An evening class might be best.  MACCS requires that you have a current 3.0 GPA and all credits up to date.  See Alicia Faulds, MACCS Guidance Counselor with any questions or for additional encouragement.

Good luck in college!
